Learn the core concepts and skills needed to operate a Pro Tools HD system in a professional studio environment
An introductory course for those with little experience with Pro Tools, or sound designers wanting to formalise their Pro Tools credentials. Hands on practical, this course explains Pro Tools through an exploration of the recording, editing and mixing environment.
'Pro Tools 101' provides a foundation for accreditation through the Digidesign operator and expert training program.
By the end of this course participants will have had the opportunity to:
- Acquire background knowledge of the Pro Tools Audio Environment
- Learn the concepts of Digital Audio signals and editing
- Manage Pro Tools files and sessions
- Learn about recording audio and MIDI
- Learn to select and navigating within Pro Tools
- Acquire Audio and MIDI editing concepts and techniques
- Learn basic mixing and automation
Each participant will be provided with the PRO TOOLS 101 Official Courseware including course manual and DVD.
Assessment
- On successful completion of the online course assessment participants will be awarded a Certificate of Completion and be eligible to progress further with the official courses offered by Digidesign and AFTRS.
