improve their radio skills - this practical course combines journalistic and audio production skills with the exciting new world of online content and
podcasting.
This course also includes a weekend in a ProTools lab !
By the end of this course, participants will have had the opportunity to:
- Plan, research and conduct interviews
- Produce a podcast using ProTools
- Plan and produce a radio feature
- Understand what makes a good radio feature
- Gain a basic understanding of broadcast law as it applies to the internet and broadcasting
- Understand the equipment and software required to podcast by working in AFTRS' state-of-the-art audio engineering computer lab
- Explain and demonstrate how to create a podcast
- Publish a podcast using podcasting software
