The Blue Dandenongs Youth Film Festival provides a genuine opportunity for the best filmmakers aged 26 years and under to be recognised for their talent and to gather as a community for the rare chance to network with their peers and critique each others work. The festival aims to raise community awareness of short films as an explorative art form for young filmmakers and to promote their work in a professional environment. It also offers an audience the privilege to see the artists who will be shaping the Australian film industry over the next 20 years.
