On Monday November 7th, The Flicks will investigate ground-breaking research driven production, presented by Richard Jones.
Richard Jones is an accomplished filmmaker and a national leader in research driven production via university partnerships with public bodies in the fields of health, wellbeing, education and social justice.
At this Flicks session, Richard will present and discuss some of his recent productions, including an online visual counselling tool for Kids Help Line, Australia's largest youth counselling service. The tool enables young people to visualise, map and discuss their emotions in one-on-one 'chat' sessions with a counselor. It has been recognised internationally as a leading development in online youth counseling and recently received Australian Research Council funding for a second development stage. Richard will also discuss his photographic work with disadvantaged boys and men in maximum security prison.
