Yeah, it's a bit of a waiting game. I remember doing a marketing round a few years backand sent up about 30-40 reels, then spent a couple of months following repeatedly to to make sure people saw them, and tried to invite myself in to introduce myself.

It was realistically about 6 -12 months before I could really start to see actual work coming out of the contacts I made. The interesting thing was almost all the clients I ended up working for were people who I'd been referred to by the people I'd sent reels to. It's a small industry, and it's interesting that details get around and word of mouth counts for a lot. So don't be too disheartened if no one has work now - keep checking back with them every now and again.
